No doubt about it, one of the best ways to spend time in Pennsylvania’s Americana Region is outside - even in the winter. Beautiful rolling hills, valleys, and waterways set the stage for outstanding year-round adventures like biking, hiking, and ice fishing. When it snows, head to our parks to cross-country ski and snowshoe, or to nearby resorts for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snow-tubing fun. Take a spin on the outdoor rink at Folino's Estate Winery, the indoor ice at BodyZone, or bleed purple at a Reading Royals ice hockey game. Of course, there’s more than one way to travel downhill. Take a class at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, or relax to the traditional sounds of our 150-year-old Reading Symphony Orchestra.
