Festivals in Full Swing
Spring means festivals in Pennsylvania's Americana Region. The season's headliner is our 10-day Berks Jazz Fest, a celebration of our American musical roots including blues, gospel, pop, and jazz. One of the largest jazz events on the East Coast, the musical extravaganza features rising stars and worldwide talents at ticketed and free concerts. But that's just the start. You'll find festivals going on all spring - and all year long - for everyone to enjoy. Check out West Reading Craft Pretzel and Beer Festival, the GoggleWorks' Iron Pour, World War II Weekend, and Muhlenberg's Spring Fiesta. Go Play Outside
Finally! It's time to get out, switch up your scenery, and enjoy the warmth of the sun on your face. Bike or hike over 175 miles of trails. Take a challenging trek to higher, breathtaking elevations. Kayak on local waterways, and watch nature beginning to bloom. Enjoy a round of disc golf with friends and family. Or take a relaxing drive and follow our Covered Bridge or Barn Star Trail as you take in the scenic beauty of our region. Spring is here. It's time to play outside in Reading and Berks County.
