I don't know about you, but I am pretty happy to say goodbye to winter this year. I'm all for the snow, but I think we have seen our fair share this year, and I am ready for those beautiful flowers to blossom and to get back to what we do best in Berks County: outdoor recreation, food, and festivals. We have so many things to look forward to this spring!

Get Outside
Explore our parks and trails either by foot or by bike. Blue Marsh Lake, French Creek, and Hawk Mountain provide breathtaking views for the whole family to enjoy. Stop by the West Reading Farmers Market for fresh fruits and veggies and have a picnic after your adventure. Reading Public Museum, Gring's Mill, and Berks County Heritage Center are some other great places to get out for a walk. After the dreariness of the winter season, some fresh air will feel good in your lungs!
