From whimsical and colorful, to historical and candle-lit, come bask in our twinkling displays before its time for the lights to go out.

Koziar's Christmas Village

In 1948, to the delight of family and neighbors, William Koziar began decorating his home and property with Christmas lights.  Seventy years later, Koziar's Christmas Village has grown to become one of the Top 10 Christmas Displays in the World. It’s no wonder the village has warmed its way into the holiday traditions of locals and visitors with its imaginative light displays, themed shops, and ability to create the wonder and magic of Christmas. Open weekends through Thanksgiving, then daily through January 1, 2019.

Christmas on the Mountain

Reading’s Hillside Playground transforms into a winter wonderland  affectionately known as Christmas on the Mountain. This free to enter display has over 1 million lights, inflatables plus vintage and modern Christmas decorations.  Chistmas on the Mountain has been a tradition for many Berks County residents for nearly three decades.  Open daily through Decemeber 23, 2018.

Holiday Lights at Gring's Mill

There's nothing better than a brisk evening walk through the beautifully illuminated grounds of Gring’s Mill Recreation Area in December.  Each year, Holiday Lights at Gring's Mill turns the park grounds into a winter wonderland complete with holiday celebrations.  On Thursday through Sunday evenings the park opens its gates for all to enjoy the displays, entertainment, visits with Santa, minature trains, refreshments, and much more! Admission is free of charge, but a $5 fee is requested for parking. 

Lantern Tours

Immediately following Christmas, December 26 - 29, Ephrata Cloister offers visitors the opportunity to experience the historic site as it was in the 1700s. The candle lit Lantern Tours of the Cloister includes a story that brings the history of the buildings and people who lived there to life. Reservations are required.
