As restaurants were mandated to temporarily stop dine-in services and offer curbside pickup and delivery options only due to COVID-19, if you’re like most, you’re surely missing your favorite dining spots in Pennsylvania’s Americana Region by now! We’re happy to announce that as Berks County transitions into the yellow phase, outdoor dining at select restaurants will be available. Enjoy the beautiful summer weather while safely enjoying your favorite meals outdoors.

Chatty Monks Brewing Company

While Chatty Monks Brewing Company will be one of the many local restaurants opening their outdoor seating on June 5, they will only be seating two tables in front of the pub so it’s important to get your reservations in! Each reservation will be in increments of 1.5 hours on Friday from 2:00pm - 9:00pm, Saturday from 12:00pm - 9:00pm, and Sunday from 12:00pm - 8:00pm. Reservations can be made at 484-818-0176. Get your reservations in today so you don’t miss out on dining at this fan favorite!

Folino Estate

Are you in the mood for authentic italian dishes, delicious wine, and dining with a gorgeous view? Make your reservation for Folino Estate’s AlFresco Outdoor Dining! The Folino Family Wine Club members receive exclusive first access to make reservations before slots are opened to the general public.

Reservations are required and can be made for two hour time slots on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00pm-6:00pm, weather permitting. Groups larger than six will not be able to be accommodated. All Folino Estate Employees will be required to wear a mask at all times and all visiting guests will be required to wear a mask while moving about the property. There will also be sanitizing stations available. Folino Estate will have single-use food and drink menus and serve food and beverages in single use containers. Make your reservation and view their policies and menu here.

Cafe Sweet Street

When Cafe Sweet Street asked what their customers missed most about the cafe, the most popular response was their outdoor deck. Well, they’re excited to announce that as of June 5, their beautiful deck will be open to dine. The cafe will have sanitizing stations set up at every entrance and exit and they ask that all guests sanitize their hands before entering and when leaving their space. Masks must be worn everywhere in the cafe, except at your own table and tables will be spaced 6 feet apart.

Orders will be placed inside at the counter and you will receive a text when your order is ready to pick up. Once your meal is finished, there is a service station outdoors where you may return your dirty dishes and throw out any trash. Their employees will receive daily temperature checks and wear a mask and gloves at all times. While reservations are not necessary, they are encouraged, and a one hour time slot can be reserved by calling 610-929-0616.

The Knight’s Pub

Beginning Friday, June 5, The Knight's Pub at Stokesay Castle will be open for outside dining on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Similar to the other local restaurants offering outdoor dining, The Knight’s Pub will be opening with strict safety guidelines in place. The pub will be using disposable menus, and most of their disposable products are also biodegradable and compostable. While they previously enforced detailed cleaning procedures, they have further added to their routine for the safety of their staff and guests.
