The Dog Days of Summer get off to a great start this Memorial Day Weekend. What could be more fun than treat yourself to local craft brews and food while your bestie mingles with other Berks County canines at the Sixth Annual Dogs & Brews. Booths from local pet shops, groomers, treat-makers, and craft vendors will also be featured. A portion of the funds raised will benefit the Animal Rescue League of Berks County. Bring donations like blankets, dog food, kitty litter, etc. for the Animal Rescue League and be entered for a chance to win prizes. This is the pawfect way for you and your dog to spend a Sunday!

Enjoy an afternoon of treats and food trucks, activities, live music, and happy dogs with Berks Nature! Watch your dog’s tail wag as they dance to the groovy live music by Let’s Dance, a twenty member band with covers ranging from Van Morrison to Disney. Eat and dance while surrounded by dogs! What could be better than that?

Attention all baseball and dog lovers! Take your dog out to the ballgame fur a night of fun! All fans’ dogs will have opportunities to cheer on the Reading Fightin Phils various nights throughout the summer at FirstEnergy Stadium. Your dog will love being a part of baseball fun in Berks County.

Who doesn't enjoy an invigorating hike - especially when Fido can join in the fun? Berks County Parks & Rec's volunteer beagle puppy Zoey invites you and your dog to explore the trails at Antietam Lake Park. Bring your well-behaved pup on a leash for the outing. Don't forget to bring water for you and your dog too. The program is free but, BCPR will be accepting donations for the Animal Rescue League. Please call to register: 610-374-8839.
