Dan is the third generation of “Farmer Brown” to work this land. When the first 1200 grapevines were planted in 2010 there was no plan to start a winery, but ten years later the tasting room is open and all are welcome! With a winemaking degree in hand and meticulous attention to detail, Dan has been crafting some of the best wines in Pennsylvania. The cozy tasting room in a converted summer kitchen boasts over two dozen national and international awards and they are the only winery in PA to win a medal at the 2019 Los Angeles Wine Competition. This nano-scale winery makes small batch premium wines and is a hidden gem located in the rolling hills of rural Berks County. Groups of 6 or more are welcome by appointment.
