HISTORIC BOYERTOWN

3 E Philadelphia Ave., Boyertown, PA 19512 | (610) 369-3054 | Visit Website

Built on land given by the English Crown to Thomas Baylor in 1601 and later given to William Penn for his Holy Experiment, theoretically makes Boyertown the oldest town in Pennsylvania’s Americana Region. The first iron forge was built here in 1716 and by 1723, the Great Road connected the town with the Colebrookdale mines. Boyertown is now one of the best preserved historic towns in the area with a thriving Main Street district filled with shops, restaurants, craft breweries, artists, professional businesses and churches. Pristine restored historic residences cover block after block surrounding the center of town.

Building A Better Boyertown is Historic Boyertown’s Main Street Organization.
