Santa Claus Arrives in PA's Americana RegionHere comes Santa Claus! Finally, the long wait is over. This weekend, Santa Claus makes his first public appearance in Pennsylvania’s American Region at the Annual Holiday Parade. And, what a perfect way for Santa to arrive! Following the pageantry of floats, marching bands, public dignitaries, and the Grand Marshall, you know the parade is drawing to an end when you spy Santa. Traditionally held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the parade is fun for everyone, especially, young children. Take chairs, blankets, a thermos of hot cocoa, and be prepared to be entertained. It's a wonderful way to get into the spirit of the holiday season. The parade leads my list of Top 5 things to do this weekend there are plenty of other great activities to check out.
