Mid Atlantic Air Museum’s World War II Weekend

Held on the first full weekend,  the event transports visitors to the battlefields of Europe, a French village, the American homefront, soldiers encampments and more. Chat with members of the Allied and Axis forces, take a turn swing dancing, go for a ride in a legendary WarBird and experience living history at its best at the 31st Annual World War II Weekend - June 3 - 5, 2022.

West Reading Art on the Avenue

The free festival spreads over four pedestrian blocks and hosts over 200 artists and vendors. Spend the day perusing art, listening to live music, and browsing the goods of local craftspeople. Kutztown Folk Festival

July can’t get here soon enough. Why? After a two-year hiatus, the Kutztown Folk Festival goes live again, July 2 - 10, 2022. Named one of America’s Top Celebrations by USA Today, the Kutztown Folk Festival is the oldest continuously operated folklife festival in America. Over the course of 9 days invites attendees to experience the culture and traditions of the Pennsylvania Dutch through demonstrations, music, dance and authentic foods. Shop the goods of world class craftspeople, browse the quilts on display in the Quilt Barn, and sit back and take in some of the fun entertainment. The Kutztown Folk Festival is a family event that will keep you coming back year after year. 

Berks County Fair

The 168th Berks County Fair takes place July 10 to July 15, 2022.  The fair celebrates the proud agricultural history of the Pennsylvania’s Americana Region and includes all the classic events you’d expect to find at a county fair, including livestock shows, cornhole tournaments, a water balloon toss, and the annual crowning of a fair’s Queen. Enjoy the sunshine, delicious PA Dutch favorites and old fashioned fair fun at the Berks County Fair.!

Muhlenberg Township River Fest takes place August 26 - 28, 2022 -  just as summer vacation draws to an end. the Schuylkill River as its backdrop. Whether you’re visiting to enjoy the beer and wine garden or the local artisanal vendors, there’s something here for everyone to celebrate summer as it draws to a close!

Taste of Hamburg-er Festival

What could be better than an event that celebrates the all-American classic - the hamburger! In the town of Hamburg, PA, that’s exactly what they do. The Taste of Hamburg-er Festival is the East Coast’s premier hamburger event. Head to the fest this September 3, 2022 and enjoy a fun filled family outing. The day’s schedule includes both amateur and professional hamburger eating competitions, live entertainment, plenty of children’s activities, and of course, stand after stand of hamburger vendors.
