Yuletide Holiday Market: November 2nd
The Reading Public Museum will host the first Yuletide Holiday Market on Saturday, November 2nd in the Stone Terrace Tent and Arboretum from 10am-3pm. Vendors will be set up under the tent and along the walking paths in the Arboretum. The Market is free for shoppers to attend! After you peruse the Market, shopping for the perfect holiday gifts, visit The Museum to explore our permanent and temporary exhibitions.

Brewer's Boo's & Brews Party: November 2nd
Enjoy specialty drinks and a spooktacular time at Brewer's from 10 PM to 2 AM.
Holiday Fine Art & Craft Festival: November 2-3rd
Join Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen (Kutztown University, O'Pake Fieldhouse South Campus Drive) for a celebration of creativity featuring beautiful handcrafted traditional and contemporary works made by over 70 of the finest craftsmen from Pennsylvania and beyond.

Diner Day: November 9th
10 AM - 1 PM
Back by popular demand! On Diner Day, sit inside Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles' beautifully preserved Fegely’s Reading Diner and enjoy coffee and homemade pie. Coffee and pie are available for purchase at 1938 prices–that means a nickel for a cup of coffee and a quarter for a slice of pie! Can’t beat those prices!
$10 for adults, $9 for seniors and AAA, children 12 and under are free.
Open Mic Night: November 21st
GoggleWorks Center for the Arts welcomes comedy, poetry, musical, dance, or other creative performances! Feel free to bring a comfortable lawn/ camping chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of entertainment! The garden opens at 5:30 PM and performances are from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Refreshments will be for sale. There is a suggested donation of $5 you can pay in cash or card at the event.
Reading Blues Fest: November 22nd - November 24th
The 2024 Reading Blues Fest features the talents of Victor Wainwright and Vanessa Collier on Friday night, Ally Venable and Solomon Hicks on Saturday afternoon, Southern Avenue and Alexis P. Suter on Saturday evening, and Bernard Allison at the Sunday brunch, all inside the comfort of the DoubleTree Grand Ballroom. Weekend packages and individual concert tickets available now.
Holiday Parade: November 23rd
The City of Reading is thrilled to announce the 2024 Holiday Parade. This year’s theme, "The Gift of Giving," will celebrate the spirit of generosity, kindness, and care that defines the holiday season. The parade will feature community groups, local organizations, schools, and businesses, all coming together to spread holiday cheer.
Join the community in celebrating as the streets of Downtown Reading light up with festive displays and holiday spirit. This is a cherished tradition for many in our community, and we welcome everyone to come together and experience the true meaning of the holiday season in our downtown.
Christkindlemarkt: November 29th- December 1st
The public is welcome to Reading Liederkranz as they celebrate their Christkindlmarkt. Three days of holiday family fun, stroll the vendors, enjoy authentic German food and beverage, holiday music too!
A Very Electric Christmas: November 30th

Follow the story of a young bird, named Max and his family, as they begin their journey south for the winter. When Max gets blown off course and ends up at the North Pole…his adventure begins! Dancing toy soldiers, caroling worms and performing poinsettia’s, light up the stage in Lightwire Theater’s A Very Electric Christmas. Audiences of all ages will treasure this magical and captivating tale of family, friendship and hope set to timeless holiday hits, including Nat King Cole, Mariah Carey, and Tchaikovsky. The Nutcracker: November 30th

The most favorite Christmas classic of all is coming to the Santander Performing Arts Center this Holiday Season and you are invited to the show! A part of the World Ballet Series, the Nutcracker is performed live by a multinational cast of 50 professional ballet dancers gathered to bring the most beloved holiday tradition to life. A family-friendly experience accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s timeless score, over 150 radiant hand-crafted costumes, lavish hand-painted sets, and the iconic Lev Ivanov choreography. This fairytale will take you on a Christmas night adventure with Clara and the Nutcracker to the Land of Sweets.
