Outdoor Concerts On The Lawn: The 2nd season of Outdoor Concerts On The Lawn is well underway! Summer Concert Series At Jim Dietrich Park 

Are you free on Friday nights from 6 - 8:30 pm? If so, head to Jim Dietrich Park for their Summer Concert Series on July 26, 2021, and August 6, 2021.  The Muhlenberg Arts Board welcomes everyone from across Berks County to enjoy the live entertainment. Set in front of the park’s rustic farmhouse, the events feature a variety of local bands, food trucks, and BYOB options. Donations are encouraged and collected during a short intermission. So, bring your lawn chairs, blankets and friends to enjoy warm summer evenings listening to great music in Berks County! 

Sunday Night Concerts at Bear Creek

Sunday nights are a whole lot better when spent at Sunday Night Concerts at Bear Creek! This free concert series has fun for the whole family written all over it. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets to sit and listen to the music more comfortably. Enjoy the delicious menu choices The Grille or The Hungry Bear while you air drum along with the top-notch musical acts. Band perform from 6 PM- 9 PM, but the fun doesn’t stop there. 30th Anniversary Bandshell Concert Series

Berks Arts incredible Bandshell Concert Series returns this summer to entertain a loyal following at Reading City Park’s Bandshell. This year sees the series celebrate its 30th Anniversary with yet another amazingly diverse lineup of national and international artists. The concerts draw fans from Berks County and beyond to hear the unique sounds of talented musicians. Starting at 6 PM every Friday night in July, concert-goers can lay out their blankets and set out their lawn chairs to explore the eclectic styles featured at these musical happenings. 

Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest

Berks Art also brings us Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest this August. Usually held in spring, the jazz fest was moved to August as a result of the pandemic. Despite the calendar change, attendees will still enjoy major jazz artists, as well as up and coming talent at ticketed and free concerts at venues across Berks County. Now in its 30th year, the jazz fest opens on Friday, August 13, 2021 with a concert by Chris Botti. Don’t miss the music and the magic of Boscov Berks Jazz Fest, a favorite Berks County event that highlights truly American music. 

RiverFest - Muhlenberg's Food and Music Festival

Wrap up your summer the right way at RiverFest! Held at Jim Dietrich Park, the annual event features 2 stages of live music and outdoor fun for the entire family. In addition to the musical entertainment, RiverFest features a beer and wine garden,food vendors and local artisans. The fun starts on August 27th at 4 PM, and doesn’t end until 7 PM on August 29th. Berks Fiddle Fest

The Lyons Fiddle Festival began 38 years ago in Lyons Community Park. From its humble beginnings grew a much loved and highly anticipated musical happening. With growth comes change. This year, the fiddle fest will be known as the Berks Fiddle Fest and held at Bear Creek Mountain Resort. The move provides participants and attendees plenty of space for lawn chair seating, jam sessions, vendors, and parking. Come experience a fiddle competition like no other on September 19, 2021 at Bear Creek.
