This new play by Anna Ziegler is about finding love in the midst of confusion. Boy was inspired by a real-life 1960s event. It is the story of a baby boy, maimed in an accident. As a result of the accident, he is raised as a girl. The play follows the outcome of that choice. Boy is a moving play that calls into question how we become who we are. Keith Haring first exhibited his work at the Reading Public Museum in 1976. The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of Keith Haring’s first solo exhibition held at the Pittsburgh Arts and Craft Center in 1978. In honor of our hometown artist, the museum has created an exhibition of Haring's paintings, prints, and sculpture from all phases of his career.
