New Year’s Eve Party at Bear Creek

Bear Creek’s FREE and family friendly New Year’s Eve party has something for everyone to enjoy! Whether you want to spend your last few hours of the year skiing down their mountain slopes or you’d rather rock out with DJ BarNone in the lodge until 12:30am New Years Day, the gorgeous mountain resort and conference center is the place to be. 

Festivities begin at 9pm on New Year’s Eve and carry on until 12:30am, with extended skiing and riding times. All Times Square events will be broadcasted on the indoor screen in the lodge for entertainment while you're warming up after a run down the slopes.

Reading Royals - New Year’s Eve Game

Do you already have plans to celebrate New Year’s Eve during the night? Celebrate during the day at the Reading Royals’ New Year’s Eve Game. 

The home game at the Santander Arena against Maine Mariners will begin at 4:00pm and include a balloon drop and countdown. Guests can enjoy bubbly $1 champagne soda and watch live New Year’s celebrations from other countries. The only thing that could make the day even better is a win from the Reading Royals!

Family Days: Noon Year’s Eve Reading Public Museum

Before your celebrations begin on New Year’s Eve night, bring the family to a Noon Year’s Eve party at the Reading Public Museum. Museum doors will open at 10:00am when guests will be welcome to visit the galleries and partake in special activities and crafts before enjoying a balloon drop in the Atrium at noon. 

For sensory-friendly visitors, there will be a special Sensory Friendly Noon Year's Eve celebration from 11am-1pm in the Neag Planetarium. The Reading Public Museum’s event is a great way to let children enjoy the festivities of New Year’s Eve and still make their typical bedtime.

New Year's Eve at the Pagoda

The view from the Reading Pagoda is incredible every night during the year, but it is especially a sight you won’t want to miss on New Year’s Eve. Fireworks will light up the sky starting at midnight. 

The Pagoda will also host live entertainment inside the building from 10:00pm until midnight and hot beverages and donuts will be available for purchase.

New Year's Eve Party at Stokesay Castle

End the decade with a delicious meal and drinks and enter 2020 with dancing and entertainment at the Stokesay Castle and the Knight’s Pub’s “Glow into 2020” New Year’s Eve Party.

With two packages to choose from, you can celebrate the night how you want. The Dinner Package includes entry at 6pm, reserved seating, hors d'oeuvres, a two course dinner, and desserts. Plus late night snacks, an open bar until 1am and entertainment from The Uptown Band and DJ Koolie Kirk. 

The Cocktail Package also includes late night snacks, open bar until 1am & entertainment, but all guests must enter after 9:00pm. Either package you choose will guarantee a night of fun and memorable way to kick off the new year.

New Year's Eve on the Rails - Colebrookdale Railroad

Ring in the New Year aboard the Colebrookdale Railroad. The train will depart for the evening on December 31 at 10:30pm and return after the ball drops. 

Guests will enjoy reminiscing about 2019 in the Secret Valley and celebrating what is yet to come in 2020. Champagne and light hors d'oeuvres will be provided to commemorate the special occasion.
