Chile Pepper Food Fest is weekend fun in PA's Americana Region is Going on now! If you like things hot, the Chile Pepper Food Fest is a must. Today and tomorrow at William DeLong Park in Bowers, the fest is everything you would expect and more. Find peppers, of course, pepper eating contests, a salsa contest, foods made with peppers, even field excursions to a neighboring farm to pick your own peppers and tomatoes. Shop over 100 chili pepper, and arts & crafts vendors plus lots of entertainment. It’s just one way to have weekend fun in Pennsylvania’s Americana Region.

Cyclists enjoy PA Americana Roads & TrailsYour weekend fun begins tonight with the opening of the Skyline Drive. Following the ceremony watch the first ever Reading Radsport Festival Mount Penn Hill Climb. It’s a quick cycling race to the William Penn Fire Tower. Afterwards, enjoy live music and fare from local food trucks and vendors in City Park. If you can’t make Friday’s celebrations, no worries. Reading Radsport Festival continues across the river on Saturday night with the West Reading Twilight Criterium. Spend your weekend cheering on the efforts of top notch pro cyclists as well as citizen bikers.
